With the December 2013 holidays behind us, Saint Simons real estate owners and vacationers alike have a lot to look forward to in the months ahead. For instance, there are a handful of fabulous events on tap for St. Simons Island’s inhabitants to enjoy in January 2014.
Here’s a peek at a few of them:
A Night at the Museum (Beachview Drive)
Would you like to mingle with fellow art lovers and take a chance at winning a two night vacation package? Well then, clear your schedule for the evening of January 7th and make plans to while away the hours at the Glynn Art Association. From 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., the association will be hosting A Night at the Museum.
The evening will feature a cocktail reception, guest speaker, exhibited works and a raffle. The raffle prize consists of a two night stay in Atlanta and admission to two of the city’s top attractions. Advance reservations are required and may be made through the association.
Bruce Adolphe in Concert (Kings’ Way)
Are you a fan of the celebrated composer and NPR personality, Bruce Adolphe too? If so, plan on joining The Island Concert Association and others on the evening of January 28th. On that night, Adolphe will be performing from 7:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Best of all, admission to the event is complimentary for everyone, including St. Simons real estate owners.
Quilting Retreat (Arthur J. Moore Drive)
The sheer abundance of old fashioned, Southern charm is another reason why people visit and invest in St. Simons real restate. So if you feel in the mood for a step back in time, plan on attending the Woven Hearts Christian Women’s Quilting Retreat as well. It’s taking place at Epworth By The Sea January 26th through January 29th. In addition to quilting with others, attendees will be able to enjoy meals, a shop hop and other activities.
Of course they are not the only activities to enjoy this January on Saint Simons Island. To find out more about the many island diversions available during the winter months, please contact our Saint Simons real estate agents at (912) 638-0406.
