John R. (J.R.) Wright, Sr. grew up in Coral Gables, FL. He received a BS in Finance from Auburn University in 1981 where he lettered four years on the golf team. With an early work background in banking and real estate, it was logical for J.R. to enter into the residential development arena. J.R. was intimately involved in the residential development of Morgan’s Mill Subdivision. His next venture, Peppertree Crossing, a 55 plus Adult Community, is thriving in The Golden Isles. Since then he’s been honing his skills as a senior housing specialist. He has a broad understanding of the senior housing market and will help find the property that will be just the right fit for you. J.R. and his wife Judy have two children, a son John Robert, Jr. and daughter Morgan. J.R. and Judy are members of St. Simons United Methodist Church where J.R. is on the Board of Missions. He is proud to have served as former Rotary Club president, board chair of the Salvation Army of Brunswick and as a founding member of Atlantic National Bank. J.R. enjoys playing golf, scuba diving and quail hunting. J.R. is a graduate of the Georgia Realtors Institute (GRI) and has obtained a real estate designation as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and he is also certified as an Internet Professional (E-PRO).
