Lou has been a resident of Sea Island since 2014, however she has been visiting the Golden Isles with her family since the early 1990’s. And, Real Estate and Sales run deep in Lou’s family. Lou graduated from Furman University in 1979, and Mercer University School Of Law in 1982. Upon graduation from law school, Lou practiced law in Atlanta, GA in the Real Estate Department of Georgia Power Company. Lou’s husband, Pete is also an accomplished Real Estate Developer, having developed several golf course communities ranging from Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee in Georgia, to Old Sandwich Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts. And, one of Lou’s twin daughters, Jessica, is a Real Estate Agent in New York with the firm NextStep Realty, while her other daughter, Julia, is in sales with the company SalesForce. Lou is well known for her honesty, outstanding customer service, and strong attention to detail. Lou is also able to leverage her experience as a successful lawyer to ensure not only that her client’s best interests are represented, but also that there is a positive experience for all parties in a transaction. Finally, Lou is a firm believer in giving back to the local community and she is particularly passionate about animal rescue. Lou is on the Board of the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia and she has chaired the Blue Jean Ball benefiting the shelter animals of Glynn County. Lou will bring energy, knowledge, and customer service to her clients.
